Cookie Policy
DripFlicks uses two first-party functional cookies, the Google Analytics measurement cookies (for aggregate traffic counts), and the cookies set by the embedded video player when you press play. Our second analytics tool — Umami — is **cookieless** and sets no cookies in your browser at all. We run no advertising or behavioural-retargeting trackers. This page lists every cookie set by or via our origin, what it does, and how long it lasts.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files set by a website in your browser. They can be "session" (deleted when you close the browser) or "persistent" (stored until expiry or manual deletion). Cookies set by our origin are "first-party"; cookies set by other origins loaded inside our pages (e.g. the embedded video player) are "third-party".
2. Cookies we set (first-party)
(a) age_ok — name: age_ok; purpose: remembers that you confirmed you are 18+; duration: 12 months; type: persistent, strictly necessary. (b) aud — name: aud; purpose: remembers your audience / orientation preference (Straight, Gay, Trans, etc.); duration: 12 months; type: persistent, strictly necessary.
3. Third-party cookies — embedded player
When you press play on a video, the iframe from the Source Platform (currently eporner.com) loads and may set its own cookies (player preferences, advertising on the source platform, view counters). Those cookies are set under the third-party's origin, not ours; their use is governed by the third-party's cookie policy.
4. Browser localStorage (not a cookie)
Optional engagement features (favourites, watch history, like/dislike) are stored in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted to our servers. Clearing your site data removes them.
5. Google Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-9QW0DFMZ7N) for aggregate visitor measurement. GA4 sets two cookies in your browser: (a) "_ga" — duration 2 years, purpose: distinguish unique browsers/users for pageview aggregation; type: third-party, analytics. (b) "_ga_9QW0DFMZ7N" — duration 2 years, purpose: persist a session identifier for the specific GA4 property; type: third-party, analytics. Google Analytics also captures your IP address (truncated by Google before storage), user-agent, page URL, referrer, and aggregate event data. No personally identifiable information is collected by DripFlicks, and we do not link GA data to any other identifier on our side. You can opt out at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, by blocking third-party cookies, or by using a browser-level tracker blocker.
6. Umami analytics (cookieless)
We use Umami (cloud.umami.is) as a second aggregate-measurement tool. Umami is privacy-friendly by design: it **does NOT set any cookies** in your browser, does not store IP addresses on its servers, and does not track individual users across sessions. It sends one event ping per pageview containing the page URL, referrer, anonymised user-agent, and an inferred country/region (derived from a hashed and rotated IP-derived identifier that is not stored). Because Umami sets no cookies, blocking third-party cookies alone does NOT block it. To opt out, use a browser-level tracker blocker (such as uBlock Origin) or block requests to cloud.umami.is in your browser. Umami's privacy policy: https://umami.is/privacy.
7. No advertising trackers
We run no advertising, retargeting, Meta Pixel, TikTok pixel, or behavioural-profiling trackers on the Service.
6. How to manage or opt out
Most browsers let you accept, refuse, or delete cookies. Doing so will re-show the age-gate on every visit and reset your audience preference to the default. Major browser instructions: Chrome (Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies), Firefox (Settings → Privacy & Security), Safari (Settings → Advanced → Cookies), Edge (Settings → Cookies and site permissions).
7. Updates
We will update this policy when our cookie usage changes. Date of last update is shown above.
